Multi-Programme Wallets
Users hold separate wallets per programme — FinWallet Internal ZAR, branded programme currencies, and more. Transfers between compatible programmes with locked exchange rates.
Voucher Redemption
External providers ingest voucher batches via a signed API. Users claim codes into their wallet, triggering a credit. Each voucher is validated against the target programme and expiry.
Cashout Channels
Wallet holders can convert virtual balance to real-world value — currently airtime top-up and voucher reissue, with bank transfer planned for Phase 3.
Fraud Detection
Two-tier fraud system: Redis-backed velocity checks (Tier 1) catch abuse in real time; database anomaly detection (Tier 2) flags unusual patterns for admin review with SLA tracking.
Compliance & Audit
Append-only audit log with POPIA-compliant IP masking. Double-entry ledger ensures every credit and debit balances. Hot storage for 24 months, cold archive up to 7 years.
Provider Portal
Voucher providers get a dedicated portal to manage their API credentials, view ingest history, and monitor voucher status — no admin access required.
